How do I make part of an black & white digital photo colour?
I have a colour image, but I want to change it to black & white whilst leaving some of it in colour. How do I do this using Jasc Paintshop Pro?

open color image, duplicate layer, desaturate layer, erase items,
you can add new color instead as well by adjusting hue of selected item or add new layer with new color and adjust layer mode overlay,

Pictures are the best way to store memories in the form of files and digital camera is the best way to take high-quality pictures. Last week I went on a tour with my family to see royal places and purchased Nikon Coolpix S1 camera with 1 GB Scan Disk's memory card. It works fine until yesterday. Now I am not able to shoot pictures using this camera and the previously taken pictures are not accessible even. I think its a kind of photo loss and I need Memory Card Recovery solutions to extract lost pictures.
When I turn the camera on, it flashes the below error message:
"This card cannot be used."
The error message occurs even if the camera does not have any memory card. If I turn the camera on with the memory card, it looks fine. However, taking the photo results into the charge/flash light blinking for a couple of seconds. After that, it gives an error message stating:
"Warning!! This card cannot be read."
The menus are accessible only if the memory card is inserted in the camera, but I can not take any shot. The menu items are not usable. It shows black text, without any cursor to indicate the selected item. However, the items appear to work properly.
Formatting the memory card seems fine, and then I can shot pictures. But, when I press the Review button, screen becomes black and it needs to remove the battery to turn the camera off. The camera gets locked at this point.
One of my friends suggested me to check whether the card is not locked. He also asked to check if the icon comes in upper right corner when I insert the card. If the card is locked, it does not show in the camera.
However, my problem is different. The card is unreadable because its logical structure is damaged. In such situations, I have to use an advanced Memory Card Recovery Software that can recover all lost files from my memory card.
