How can you tell the difference between leather and plastic?
I've seen a lovely old chair in a second hand shop. It looks like leather but it's very soft, it's on a wooden frame. It's very padded with upholstery buttons in the backrest. The whole chair is very soft and squishy leather type material - is there a way how to tell if it's leather or not. It's a very worn wine colour.
try smelling it if it smells leather or plastic......material made from pure leather has a distinct smell...........
