yippee springs on it's way and hello to all the lovely Egyptians?

I have an old high school friend coming to cairo with her husband in the summer for vacation, I thought it would be nice to give her some advice so she doesn't have a bad time like haggle and don't take the black taxi it will rip you off but I got to thinking maybe all of you have better advice then me and would be appreciated like where to go beside the obvious and tip's on not getting scammed well thanks in advance and happy day

First of all : Never get scammed . I agree with you , black taxi will rip her off , since she isn't Egyptian . lol . But now there are new kinds of taxi :- cairo cab ( a yellow taxi ) and another kind of white taxis . They are way better than the old black ones . also , don't buy anything from small markets , because they might scam her since she is a tourist . so tell her to buy stuff from well known super markets , if she needs to buy any thing ,

#2 : don't wear inappropriate clothes outside her hotel , because she might get harassed or stared at by some people in public .

#3 : visit the pyramids , they are amazing ! also take a nile cruize in the night .

#4 : there are better place in Egypt , than cairo . like sharm al shaikh , hurghada , dahab , marsa alam and alexandria . Egyptian beaches are awesome .
