a mechanical car jack has to lift a load of 2000N. one rotation of the screw raises the car 10mm. you apply a force to the end of a lever 0.5m long through a full circle. the jack is only 40% efficient. calculate the force you have to apply.

W.D-output = 2000N * 0.01 m
But, W.D-output / energy input = 0.4
Therefore, 0.5m *f * 2 * Pi *0.4 = 2000N * 0.01 m
