Toshiba TV problem. Large black rectangle in picture.?
Toshiba TV model 27AF44, cable fed, intermittently (every few minutes) produces an intermittent solid black rectangle in the lower half of the screen, but only on channels 2 through 7. The rectangle can bee removed by pressing "reset" on the remote, or by switching channels back and forth, but it will reappear a few minutes later.
Any suggestions as to the problem?
in your setup menu, turn off closed captioning function. if it is already disabled, then you have a problem with the circuit board.
