How much should I pay grandma to watch two grandchildren? She lives with us and we pay for all her expenses. ?

For the most part my husband and I usually rotate shifts so that she doesn't not have to watch the children that often. Generally, i am tired of her telling the children she is sick of watching them during the gap that both us parents are not at home. So I want to know how much everyone thinks that her watching them is worth so that we can then accordingly stop paying for certain costs she is costing us.
The babysitting was part of the deal that she agreed upon and that it was to cover the expenses that she would add extra, she adds a total of $1,000 extra expense a month. Now she is backing out of her ends of the agreement and demanding more for nothing.

I would have a stern talking with her. She should NOT be talking to your children in that manner. If that was the agreement, she's taking advantage of you by not holding up her end of the deal. You have to treat her with respect, but she should be treating your children and you and your husband, with the same respect. She is living in YOUR home.
