Would a seamstress/tailor be able to make the sleeves of my hoodie shorter?

I just bought a hoodie and the sleeves are too long but other than that it fits perfectly. Would it be possible for a seamstress to take off like 2-3 inches on the sleeves? The cuffs of the sleeves are already pretty wide so I don't think it would look too weird. How much do you think this would cost?

Sure, it depends on what you want. You can be specific about what you want, like the previous b!tch described, or you can be simple.

It would probably be easier to just take a pair of shears and chop off what you want, and fold back the edge yourself, and put a seam right on the hem, or you can just leave it sheared raw, the Kints these days are made really well, there will hardly be any unraveling to worry about.

I've actually chopped off the cuffs of a few long sleeve knit tops, and by the natural nature of the fabric, it has rolled back onto itself creating a natural hem all by itself. It looks fine and my friends haven't noticed it being not properly hemmed off at all.

Save a little money and spend it on yourself later, you'll be fine.
Besides its always retro to put a few tears in later when you want to, lol !
