Will i be allowed to wear my cross to school?
I go to a really strict all-girls school (sucks to be me...) and the school rules state that no jewelry can be worn apart from a silver wrist-watch or silver or gold stud earrings. or else you get it confiscated and a detention.
i am a christian, and wearing my cross means a lot to me, to know that Christ is there with me. it is silver, small and on a silver chain. and i really don't want it confiscated.
according to the school rules, this is not allowed, but it is my religion. do you think i will be allowed to wear it?
there are always stories of people who have sued because they were not allowed to wear religious symbols, which is why i asked.

As the principal at school. Do not wear it until you get permission because then it looks as if you are not willing to follow the rules. If they say no, carry a cross in your pocket or sew one in to the inside of your backpack/purse.
