Will my wrist watch work?

I had put my wrist watch (water resistant 100ft ) in my pocket. The pant along with watch went into washing machine .Water went into watch. Now its not working . I removed the visible water.But still it didn't work.What should i do to make it work it again?

It depends on what kind of watch it is. Mechanical, quartz, or digital? If it's digital you could clean it with rubbing alcohol and let it dry and it should work. If it's quartz it might need some work depending on the quality of the movement. If it's mechanical the oils would have been washed off and it would need to be disassembled and cleaned immediately so that the delicate parts don't rust, if it rusts in places like the escapement and mainspring it'll cost a lot to fix.
