How do you get rid of bad odor from your wrist watch? It's a electronic wrist watch with leather straps?

I own a Tokyo Flash wrist watch (http://www.tokyoflash.com/en/watches/tokyoflash/1000100101black/) whose thick leather straps have a strong funk on it. I don't know how waterproof the watch is and I'm sure moisture's not great for leather, so how do you recommend I get the odor out? So far I sprayed cologne on it, but if the smell is from a mixture of strong odors, I don't know if it's a great idea in the long run
I thought of buying a new band too but I have no idea how to get a new band for this watch. If you've seen it you'll know it's an unusual watch.

That watchband is picking up the oils and sweat from your wrist...try cleaning it with toothpaste and paper towels. When it's dry try rubbing it with baking soda or baby powder to extract all moisture. The soda and powder will also freshen the leather. Good luck.
