Can you recomend me a suitable lense for fashion photography, i have an Olympus e500 digital SLR?
The 35mm-100mm is an excellent lens selling for a little over $2,000 (U.S. after instant rebate). But has the drawback of being a fairly large, heavy lens that may not be as usable when you need to be able to shoot from many angles and/or move quickly in a fast paced shoot.
The Zuiko 14-54mm f2.8/3.5 is well known as one of the best general purpose lenses available and has been a frequent "upgrade" option of E500 owners (including me). Equivalent to a 28-108mm on a 35mm camera it is available for about $375-400 ($ @ rebate as above).
The brighter f2.8 maximum aperture makes it possible to achieve selective focus while the maximum zoom is enough to allow you to back off from the subject(s) but still be close enough for good communication with models.
I can verify from personal experience (I have two of the 14-54mm lenses) that this lens is superb quality and easy to handle.
In between these is the new Supersonic Wave Drive (SWD) 12-60mm f2.8-f4, designed for the Image Stabilized Olympus camera bodies. It will work fine on the E500 and will be ready to take maximum advantage of an IS body when you upgrade in the future. Current price is about $900 (U.S.@ rebate). It has faster focusing when combined with the E3 Pro model and probably represents the next generation of digital lenses from Olympus.
You could also add the EC14 1.4X or the EC20 2X tele-converter accessory to increase the versatility of any one of these lenses by increasing the magnification. Either converters is excellent quality but will need the added brightness of one of these "faster" lenses to be truly useful.

The human eye is commonly considered as the most advanced digital camera in the world. In addition, it usually indicates some diseases in other parts of the body. However, the eye will unexpectedly loose it elastic nature as people age. Presbyopia is such a consequence of this change in the eye.
This eye problem will gradually affect a person's focus ability. As a result, presbyopic patients become unable to see near objects. Those elder ones with presbyopia can benefit from bifocal lenses, which have a lower section for near reading and an upper section to see objects at a distance.
However, there are many eye conditions that may influence the selection of contact lenses, including cataracts, glaucoma, trachoma, acute conjunctivitis, eyelid infection, astigmatism, color blindness, inflamed or water eye and so on. With certain of these conditions, some people may be confused to choose contact lenses or eyeglasses.
Actually, it all depends on individual type of eye infection. Without the consideration of personal eye condition, contact lenses and eyeglasses are both ok that they have both advantages and disadvantages.
Contact lenses usually require wearers to observe certain precautious daily rules and regulation. Certain factors such as cleanness and disinfecting must be carefully examined before contact lens wearing. Unlike contacts, eyeglasses require no special treatments on lens observation. In addition, eyeglasses do not react to the wearers like contact lenses.
There are still some detailed differences between contacts and glasses. Contact lenses are more expensive and require special training from the doctor as well as special storage to prevent infections. In contrast, eyeglasses require no special training and can be used for a longer period of time.
Nowadays, many young girls and ladies use contact lenses to gain extra fashion and good looking. This application is believed to cause more eye problems. All in all, eye health is more important than fashion.
